Surreality Fashion
By Danny Castillones Sillada ©
Fashion is a creative pursuit of clothing a man and a woman with such opulence and sophistication, as an extension to the archetypal persona, and it can either inflate or deplete the human ego depending on how fast it wears in or wears out in style, relevance, and popularity. The fashionable an individual is the vulnerable he or she is to the dictate of popular culture and mass media. The less fashionable one is, the less freedom one takes on creative self-expression, albeit undisturbed from the whims and caprices of trends and styles. Being fashionable, therefore, is a compromise between the freedom of creative self-expression and the conciliatory assent what the mass media or social media want a hip individual to be, as an iconic persona in a consumerist and digitized society

Full Moon
I furtively watch the silhouette
of my woman
against the rising moon.
Slowly and steadily,
she lets her garment fall
on the bamboo floor.
